LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer hosted Lone Star Conference rival St. Mary's on Wednesday night in non-conference action. At the end of the contest, which included a 30-minute weather delay, it was the Rattlers (5-3-0, 0-0-0 LSC) taking home the victory, 3-0 over the Dustdevils (2-5-1, 0-0-0 LSC).

It took a long feeling out process and back and forth momentum in the first half before anyone gained momentum, but it was St. Mary's doing so at 34:21 to take a 1-0 lead it would hold at halftime.

After the half, the Rattlers extended its lead to 2-0 at the 52:23 mark, scoring just before the 30-minute weather delay.

Less than 10 minutes of game time later, after the delay, St. Mary's netted its third tally to make the score 3-0 at 62:06.

TAMIU was outshot in the contest 13-8, and the Dustdevils put three shots on net, compared to the Rattlers six. St. Mary's also led in corner kicks at 10-2.

Gabriel Gacovicaj led the offense attempting four shots, while
Lassana Diakite (two shots, two shots on goal) and
Kristian Colaci (one shot on goal) followed behind.

The Dustdevils conclude their non-conference schedule on Saturday, when they travel to Dallas to meet Lone Star Conference member DBU. Opening kick is slated for 7 p.m.
