TAMIU Volleyball Adds Garcia To 2022 Class

LAREDO, TEXAS – Texas A&M International University head volleyball coach Brittany Harry announced the signing of Jasmin Garcia to the 2022 class on Tuesday.

A native of Brownsville, Texas, Jones will come to TAMIU after beginning her collegiate career at Ranger College.

While at Ranger, Garcia was named First Team All-Conference, ending the season third in the conference in blocking.

Garcia is a high school graduate of Los Fresnos High School, when she was First Team All-Conference, All-Metro MVP and second in the nation for blocking in 2019-20.

Garcia chose to join TAMIU because, "of the best athletic and academic programs, and the people are super nice that Ifelt welcomed. Also, it's close to home."

"I am excited to add depth in our middle position with Jasmin," said Harry. "She has grown as a player at Ranger the past two years and I am excited to see where her grows here at TAMIU."
