LAREDO,TX - The Texas A&M International Volleyball team has announced their 2026 season schedule.
"We are looking forward to the upcoming 2026 season and the direction of our program. There is a renewed energy surrounding our program, with a major roster overhaul and the excitement of competing in the LSC, we are ready to tackle the challenge of the upcoming season."
Heading into her third year at the helm with high spirits, Head Coach Tammie Jimenez looks to begin play in Springfield, Missouri against Southern Nazarene as part of the Drury Invitational from Aug 28 - 29. In this invitational TAMIU will also be playing against Newman University for the first time since 2018 and Minot State University for the first time since 2016.
The Dustdevils then head to Arkadelphia, Arkansas to participate in the Reddie-Tiger Invitational competing against teams such as Henderson State, Missouri S&T, University of West Alabama, and LeMoyne Owen College.
The first home game will be Sept 1. against Minnesota State Moorhead, followed by Sul Ross State on Sept. 10, and Eastern New Mexico on Sept. 12 as part of the LSC Challenge before beginning conference play.
Their first conference matchup of the season will take place at home against Dallas Baptist University on Sept.15 before heading to Portales, New Mexico to play against the Eastern New Mexico Mustangs on Sept.18.
The Dustdevils conference schedule includes eight road contests and nine home matches. Their final road games include UT Dallas on Oct. 30 and UT Tyler on Oct. 31.
Their final matchups at home include UTPB on Nov. 6 and senior night against Angelo State on Nov. 7.
In addition to exciting volleyball in the Kinesiology Convocation Building, TAMIU will also be hosting events for the community on game days. Starting with Youth Day on Sept 12, Faculty & Staff Appreciation on Sept. 15 Title IX Awareness on Oct. 9 and Dig Pink Breast Cancer Awareness on Oct 10.
