SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Texas A&M International men's soccer battled to a 0-0 tie against St. Mary's in its final non-conference game Saturday night.
It was a stalemate throughout the game, as the majority of the stat sheet was lit up by the Rattlers in terms of yellow cards and shots.
TAMIU (2-3-4, 0-0-0 LSC) had just one chance in the game and no shots on goal. On the other side, St. Mary's had 18 shots and three on goal.
The Rattlers did see seven yellow cards in the game, helping TAMIU throughout.
Sophomore Ricky Casso took the lone shot in the game and junior keeper Robin Verhoeven was perfect 3-for-3 with shots he faced on net.
The Dustdevils begin LSC play on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. against DBU in Dallas.
