AUSTIN, Texas – Texas A&M International women's soccer saw two goals go past in a two-minute span that led to the Dustdevils falling to St. Edward's, 3-1.

TAMIU (3-5-2, 0-3-2 LSC) played an even first half with the Hilltoppers (8-1-1, 4-0-0 LSC) as both teams had chances, St. Edward's just a slight edge at 7-6 in shots.

At 59:17 in the second half, the Hilltoppers scored the game-winning goal, then followed just 2:01 later with an insurance goal to make it 2-0.

At 62:42, just 1:24 after the second St. Edward's goal, the Dustdevils cut the deficit to 2-1 when junior
Krysan St. Louis scored her fourth goal of the season.

One last tally for the Hilltoppers came at 76:58, to end the scoring, making it a 3-1 final.

TAMIU had opportunities, taking 12 shots in the game, but could only place two on the cage, while St. Edward's had 16 shots, seven of which were on target.

St. Louis led the team with four shots, while fellow junior's
Lucia Cuadra and
Marta Forne, and redshirt sophomore
Andrea Castellanos all had two shots.

The Dustdevils return home for a Saturday morning matinee, as they host Midwestern State at 11 a.m. on Oct. 1 from the TAMIU Soccer Complex.
