ANDERSON, South Carolina - Texas A&M International sweeps Catawba in the third game of the Electric City Invitational. 
 

The Dustdevils fell behind early to Catawba, but found their groove as they strung together 16 kills in the first set. TAMIU bounced from being down to take the first set 25-19. 

The momentum continued to build into the second set as the Dustdevils once again had 16 kills in the set with a .556 hitting percentage. The Dustdevils kept the Chiefs at bay as they only allowed 13 points in the second set. TAMIU would take the second 25-13. 

In the third, the Dustdevils again found success offensively as Giulia Hortelan, Meagan Menchaca, and Mackenzie Catalina tallied up a handful of kills each. The Dustdevils got ahead quickly, and as they entered midway into the set, they dominated and kept the Chiefs to scoring only 15 points. 

The Dustdevils swept the Chiefs 3-0 and will have their final match of the Electric City Invitational this afternoon at 1:00 pm against Converse.
