San Antonio, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer fell 3-1 to St. Mary's on the road on Saturday.
The Rattlers (8-3-6, 2-1-5 LSC) opened the scoring in the in the 23rd minute, scoring off of a penalty kick. Neither team scored the rest of the first half.
St. Mary's scored its second goal in the 73rd minute, but the Dustdevils (6-6-4, 2-4-2 LSC) closed the gap to one goal less than a minute later when Bennet Sundermann scored off an assist from Jordan Mase.
The Rattlers sealed the win in the 86th minute with one last goal.
TAMIU totaled 14 shots, five of which were on goal.
Gal Grodetzki finished with five saves in goal.
TAMIU will be in action next at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1 against Lubbock Christian (6-3-7, 2-2-4 LSC) in the final game of the regular season.
