Mase's Game Winner Sends Dustdevils To LSC Tournament

Lubbock, Texas – Jordan Mase sent the Dustdevils into the LSC playoff on Wednesday when he scored the game winner in a 1-0 victory at Lubbock Christian.  

The Dustdevils (7-6-4, 3-4-2 LSC) only totaled four shots on the game but it was enough for Mase to find the back of the net in the 35th minute and Gal Grodeski recorded 11 saves to preserve the clean sheet.

The Chaps (6-4-7, 2-3-4 LSC) totaled 33 shots, 11 of which were on goal.

This is the first time TAMIU has qualified for the LSC Tournament since 2019 where they made it to the semifinals.

The Dustdevils earned the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will travel to No. 4 seed DBU (6-7-4, 3-3-3 LSC) on Saturday at a time to be announced.
