Monticello, Ark. – Texas A&M International University swept Arkansas-Monticello on Monday (25-8, 25-14, 25-14) in a dominating performance for its fourth win in five matches.
The Dustdevils held to Blossoms to a -.046 hitting percentage and finished with a .272 percentage of their own.
Ariana Guerra led TAMIU with 13 kills, Hannah Thompson totaled five aces, Anna Ligart tallied two blocks, Emma Lade dished out 29 assists and Giulia Hortelan anchored the defense with 21 digs.
The Dustdevils served 10 aces as a team.
TAMIU is now 11-6 on the season and will be in action next at 6 p.m. on Friday at home against UT Tyler which is 10-7 overall and 4-2 in LSC action.
