Laredo, Texas – Texas A&M International volleyball saw its season come to an end on Thursday, falling to DBU in the first round of the LSC Playoffs 3-1 (27-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-17).
The Dustdevils (19-11, 10-7 LSC) totaled more kills, 50, than the Patriots (23-6, 15-2 LSC), 45 but committed 33 attacking errors. TAMIU totaled seven serving aces, 76 digs and three blocks. DBU finished with four aces, 66 digs and 17 blocks.
Hannah Thompson led the Dustdevils with 15 kills, Mia Molina added 13 and Ariana Guerra tallied eight.
LSC Setter of the Year Emma Lade dished out 42 assists.
Giulia Hortelan led TAMIU in aces with two and digs with 27.
