Edmond, Okla. – The Dustdevil Women's Basketball team remains unbeaten as they emerged victorious in a thrilling game against The University of Central Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon. With the final score of 99-72, TAMIU dominated the court in the second half.
Raiana Brown led the way with a whopping 31 points. Ngozi Obineke also contributed significantly, scoring 13 points and recording 7 assists. Samiyah Worrell came off the bench to contribute 13 points to the effort.
Malea Jackson had a team-high, 6 rebounds and scored 8 points in the effort, moving her past the 1000-point mark in her collegiate career. Malea currently sits at 1002 career points.
With this win, TAMIU remains undefeated with a record of 6-0. The Dustdevils will be in action again Wednesday, November 22 at 11:00 am to face Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
