Laredo, Texas - The Dustdevils faced off against the Jevelinas in a Lone Star Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon in the KCB. 

TAMIU got off to a slow start in the first quarter, with the Javelinas outscoring them, 19-23. 

As the game progressed, the Dustdevils continued to build on their lead, outscoring the Javelinas in each subsequent quarter. Raiana Brown led the charge for TAMIU  with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals. Ngozi Obineke added 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Telisha Brown contributed 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. 

The final score reflected the Dustdevil's dominance, with a 71-56 victory over the Javelinas. 

With this victory, the Dustdevils improve to 10-2 as they head into the holiday break. TAMIU will be in action again on Friday, December 29 at 5:30pm in the Laredo, TX.
