LAWTON, Okla.– Texas A&M International softball closed its series against Cameron on Thursday, unable to come away with a win as they fell 1-0 for the second time in the three game set.

The lone run scored in the contest came in the bottom of the first inning as the Aggies got an RBI single.

TAMIU had its share of opportunities throughout, but would leave the bases loaded in the first inning and a runner at second base in the fifth and sixth innings, each time with one out.

Sophomore Carla Arellano tossed the complete game in the circle and in her six innings allowed one run, seven hits and walked two.

Offensively, TAMIU collected three hits with three players combining for the tally.

The Dustdevils return to the field on Tuesday, April 11 for a doubleheader against Angelo State to open the season series. First pitch of game one is slated for 12 p.m.
