LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International Women's Soccer and Mississippi College battled to a 0-0 drawn to open the season on Thursday night.
Both offenses had numerous chances in the first half with the Dustdevils (0-0-1) recording seven shots in the first 45 minutes and the Choctaws (0-0-1) shooting eight times.
TAMIU recorded three shots in the second half and Mississippi College totaled two.
There were seven yellow cards in the game with three Dustdevils booked and four Chocktaws, including two coaches.
TAMIU is in action next at 11 a.m. on Sunday against Sul Ross State at home.
