This game pitted the Dustdevils, boasting a season record of 4-2-1, against the Patriots, who entered the match with a record of 4-1-2. The scoring action commenced in the 18th minute when Texas A&M International's Yahir Gallardo found the back of the net, courtesy of a brilliant assist from Tajani Fairclough, putting the Dustdevils in the lead at 1-0.
