Denton, Texas – The Dustdevils (3-4-4) traveled north to Denton to take on the TWU Pioneers (5-2-3) in Lone Star Conference play on Saturday. Despite nine combined shots on target, the game finished in a scoreless draw.

TAMIU had three shots in the first half from Laura Cardenas, Krysan St. Louis and Gabriela Mendez-Ortiz.

Claramalia Pedersen stopped both attempts from the Pioneers to keep the first half scoreless. In the second half, Pedersen added four more saves, bringing her total to six on the night.

The Dustdevils had two shots on goal in the second half from Sierra Clarke and Candela Gonzalez, but both were saved by Amanda Farris.

TAMIU returns home on Wednesday to face UT Tyler. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
