Austin, Texas- The Dustdevils (2-7-2) went to take on St. Edward's (4-4-3) in a conference showdown on Wednesday night. The match-up would end up with the Hilltoppers securing a 1-0 victory against the Dustdevils.

A goal in the 53^rd minute by Christian Mezas would be the first and only goal of the game. The Dustdevils had a total of 11 shots on the night with seven being on goal. St. Edward's had 27 shots on the night with 12 being on goal. Nicklas Berg-Eriksen finished the night with an impressive 10 saves on the evening.  It was an offensive showdown but unfortunately the Dustdevils could not find the back of the net.

The Dustdevils will be back home October 19^th to take on St. Mary's at Dustdevil Stadium at 7:00 PM CDT.
