Lawton, Oklahoma- The Dustdevils (7-9) volleyball team took to Oklahoma this weekend to play a pair of matches against conference foes, starting tonight with Cameron University (1-17). The Dustdevils took on the Aggies tonight in what proved to be a one sided affair. The Dustdevils swept the Aggies in three sets (25-23), (25-16), (25-16). The Dustdevils improved to 6-1 all-time against the Aggies after a road win tonight.
 
The Dustdevils finished the night with 34 kills, seven aces, eight blocks, 33 assists and 29 digs on the evening. Mia Molina continued her outstanding offensive performance this year, leading the Dustdevils with 12 kills, one assist, two blocks and three digs. Emma Lade finished with 26 assists, five digs and three service aces. Lixai Perez led the Dustdevils in digs with 10. Abby Buenrostro led the team in blocks with five. Overall, on the night the Dustdevils finished off with a .213 hitting percentage to push pass the Aggies with a sweep.
 
The win pushes TAMIU to (7-9, 4-3 Lone Star) on the season. The Dustdevils will face off against Oklahoma Christian University tomorrow at 2:00 PM. The Dustdevils are 2-1 all-time against the Eagles. Be sure to catch all the action at flosports.com.
