Dustdevils Suffers Home Loss Against UT Tyler

Laredo, Texas- The Dustdevils took on the UT Tyler Patriots in a Lone Star Conference showdown on Wednesday evening.

The Patriots were quick to strike as they scored within the first four minutes. The goal was by Danny Demarias. The Patriots then scored again in the 63rd minute, going up 2-0.  The Dustdevils had 11 shots with six on goal but could not convert. The Patriots ended up winning 2-0 to grab the conference win on the road. Ioannis Koupepides had a stellar defensive performance for the Dustdevils with 9 saves on the evening.

The Dustdevils move to 2-9-2 overall and 0-6-1 in the conference. TAMIU men's soccer will play again on October 30th at Oklahoma Christian University at 7:00 PM.
