Laredo, Texas- The Dustdevils took on more conference action on Saturday as they faced off against the UT Tyler Patriots after having a showdown against DBU the previous night. The Dustdevil volleyball team entered the match 2-4 all time against the Patriots.

The Dustdevils entered the game trying to snap a two game losing streak. The first set was all Dustdevils as they dominated the Patriots 25-19. UT Tyler quickly found their rhythm as they defiantly took set two (11-25), set three (25-27) and set four (13-25). The loss put TAMIU 7-12 overall and 4-6 in the Lone Star Conference. TAMIU finished the game with 37 kills, three aces, 10 blocks, 35 assists and 47 digs.
