Laredo, Texas- The Texas A&M International Dustdevil Volleyball team( 7-11,4-5 Lone Star) took on the Dallas Baptist Patriots (13-6,7-2 Lone Star) Friday night. It was faculty and staff appreciation night.

Dustdevils Fall To Patriots In Four Sets
Dallas Baptist would take the first set of the match (17-25) but TAMIU would soon find a groove. The Dustdevils went on to win set two (25-20) before falling in set three (25-21) and set four (25-16). The Dustdevils are 4-30 all time against Dallas Baptist Patriots. TAMIU finished the match with 39 kills, four aces, 10 blocks, 33 assists and 56 digs.
Anna Ligart was dominant on both sides of play as she finished the match with 12 kills and seven blocks.
Emma Lade finished with 29 assists and one service ace.
Lixai Perez finished the match with 21 digs for the Dustdevils.
Aryana Ledet had 10 kills and two assists for the Dustdevils.
Mia Molina also had a solid night for the Dustdevils finishing with nine kills, nine digs and one service ace.
The Dustdevils will be back in action tomorrow against UT Tyler at 2:00 PM. It will be costume party themed so be sure to wear yours and follow all the action at godustdevils.com.
