Laredo, Texas – The Angelo State Rambelles made the trip down to Laredo to take on the Dustdevils in Lone Star Conference play Wednesday. A goal in the final minute pushed the Rambelles past the Dustdevils 1-0.
Both teams were scoreless in the first 45 minutes. The Rambelles had seven shots in the half, three on goal.
Claramalia Pedersen made all three saves on the Rambelles' attempts.
TAMIU had one shot on goal by
Loren Perez Barrera in the 16
th minute.
The second half of the game saw more great defense from both teams. Pedersen recorded another three saves for TAMIU.
The Dustdevils recorded one shot on goal in the second half also by Perez Barrera.
Rosa Caird also recorded a shot in the half.
In the final minute of play, the Rambelles found the net to sneak past the Dustdevils for their fifth win.
The Dustdevils continue their season on the road as they face off against Texas Woman's in Denton on Oct. 12
th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
