Fort Smith, Arkansas- The Dustdevils competed in day two of the Hampton Inn Classic. The Dustdevils took on the Missouri Southern State Lions. This would be the first time the two teams have faced off against each other in the history of the two programs.

The Lions jumped out to a quick start scoring 21 points in the first quarter while the Dustdevils scored 11. The quick start proved to be too much as the Dustdevils outscored the Lions the next three quarters but still came up short 57-54. The Dustdevils shot 36% from the field, 21% percent from the three-point line and 78% from the free throw line. The Dustdevils grabbed 31 boards as a team.

Josie Igherighe led the way for the Dustdevils with 16 points, she also had four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.
Janiya Murphy also had 10 points, two rebounds, and two steals. The team scored 37 points off the bench to help in the effort against Lions.
