San Angelo, Texas- The Dustdevils took on another road game this weekend against the Angelo State Rams. It was a jam packed game on Saturday as their was nearly 700 people in attendance to watch the two Lone Star Conference foes in action. The Dustdevils entered the evening 5-5 overall and 1-1 in LSC play. Angelo State entered the evening 5-2 overall and 1-1 in LSC play.

It was a tough first half for the Dustdevils as they found themselves trailing early to the Rams. The Rams shot a lights out 56 percent from the field while the Dustdevils struggled offensively shooting 26 percent. The slow start offensively would prove to be the difference maker as the Dustdevils were outscored 39-22 in the first half and then outscored the Rams 31-27 in the second half of play. The Dustdevils went on a 15-2 run in the second half while causing seven turnovers in five minutes. The Rams went on for three minutes without a field goal. However, the Dustdevils would still come up short as the final score was 66-53.

Aaron Perez led the Dustdevils in scoring with 14 points while
Anthony Ignowski also helped with 10.
Duncan Alevok with six and
Emaniel Alexandre with five led the team in rebounds. TAMIU will be back in action on December 15
th against Eastern New Mexico University at 3:00 PM CDT.
