Laredo, Texas – In game two of Saturday's double header, the Dustdevils (1-7) came up just short of the Greyhounds (4-3), falling 2-1.
Jan Cabrera got the nod for the Dustdevils and was lights out through the first three innings.
The Greyhounds got on the board first with an RBI single giving them a 1-0 lead.
The Dustdevils answered back in the home half of the sixth with an RBI from
Omar Cervantes, bringing
Ariben Gutierrez in to score.
Knotted at one a piece, the Greyhounds took a 2-1 lead with a solo home run in the top of the seventh.
The Dustdevils look to even the series on Sunday as they take on ENMU at 1 p.m. in the series finale.
