Richardson, Texas – Senior Isaac Ponce earned the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for February 8 – February 12 on Monday after leading the Dustdevils to a 8-5 victory over ENMU on Friday afternoon.

Ponce allowed just two hits and struck out eight batters over seven innings of work to earn the win in Texas A&M International's first victory of the season. The right-hander allowed just one earned run and one walk in the series opener. Eastern New Mexico hit just .087 off him. Ponce did not allow a hit after a leadoff single in the second inning and recorded at least one strikeout in all but one inning.
