San Angelo, Texas – In their second game of the day, the Dustdevils (3-5) took on the Angelo State Rams (6-1) in San Angelo, Texas.
Carla Arellano took the mound for the Dustdevils, coming into the game with a 0-1 record.
The game was knotted at zero entering the third inning before
Katelyn Luera got TAMIU on the board with an RBI single, bringing in
Kristin Maldonado.
The Rams answered back in their half of the third with four runs of their own. Adding six more in the fourth, the Rams took a 10-1 lead.
Victoria Gonzalez and
Kristin Maldonado both added hits in the contest.
The Dustdevils look to bounce back as they face Regis and Angelo State on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 3:40 p.m.
