Game 1
Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Dustdevils fell 9-1 against Oklahoma Christian in the game 2 of the four-game series on Saturday, March 16th.
The scoreboard remained deadlocked at 0-0 in the first inning, but as the game progressed TAMIU broke the silence in the second inning as Cervantes crossed home plate following a sacrifice fly by Quiroz, granting them a narrow 1-0 advantage. OKC swiftly retaliated with Spencer's single to center field, allowing Jones to score, leveling the score at 1-1.
OKC seizing control of the game in the third inning with Jones's single to right field that brought home Boyce, propelling OKC into a 2-1 lead. Further extending their lead, Behm's single up the middle drove in both Jones and Laird, widening the gap to 4-1.
The Eagles continued their offense in the fourth inning, highlighted by Sanchez's homer to right field, driving in Boyce and Maskarine, significantly extending their lead to 7-1. Another run was added as Jones reached on a fielder's choice, allowing Laird to score, further solidifying OKC's lead at 8-1.
 In the fifth inning, OKC maintained their momentum with Boyce's sacrifice fly to left field, bringing home Carter, pushing their lead to 9-1.
The final pitching summary saw Snyder of OKC securing the win, while
Lalo Salinas of TAMIU suffered the loss. C. Jones of Okla. Christian recorded the save.
Omar Cervantes secured a hit and scoring the Dustdevil's sole run.
Daniel Quiroz contributed offensively with a sacrifice fly in the second inning, driving in Cervantes for their only score.
Game 2
The Dustdevils fell 5-4 in the second half of Saturday's double header.
OKC got on the scoreboard in the third inning with a sudden burst of offense. Box's single brought home Laird, followed by Spencer's double driving in Jones, and a hit by pitch allowed Wyatt to score, giving the Eagles a 3-0 lead.
TAMIU responded in the fourth inning, with Buentello's sacrifice fly and Leal's single, closing the gap to 3-2. However, OKC extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth with Sanchez's double, making it 4-2.
The fifth inning remained scoreless for both teams, with strong pitching performances on both sides. In the sixth inning, the Dustdevils staged a comeback as Buentello hit a solo home run, bringing the score to 4-3.
In the seventh inning, TAMIU tied the score at 4-4 with Prieto's sacrifice fly, but the Eagles responded immediately with Wyatt's single, securing a 5-4 lead and the win.
The winning pitcher was Cowgill for OKC, while
Austin Brewer took the loss for the Dustdevils.
Nomar Prieto went 1-for-3 at the plate and delivering an RBI sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to tie the game.
Antonio Buentello went 1-for-2 at the plate, including a two-run homer in the sixth inning that brought the team within striking distance of OKC.
Isaac Stanwick went 2-for-3, contributing to the team's offensive efforts. Additionally,
Andrew Leal contributed a timely RBI single in the fourth inning, helping to close the gap between the two teams.
The Dustdevils and Eagles will be back in action for game 4 on Sunday, March 17 ay 1 p.m.
