San Angelo, Texas – The Dustdevils took on #21 Angelo State in game three on Wednesday.
ASU got the scoring started in the bottom of the second with a solo home run. A bunt in with runners on second and third brought in another run for ASU and put them in
front of the Dustdevils 2-0.
In the next inning, the Rambelles doubled their lead with Zoey De Baca's second home run of the game.
A four-run fourth inning put ASU up 8-0 and left the Dustdevils to their last chance to cut into the eight-run deficit.
Tessa Ramirez pitched four innings for TAMIU and allowed eight runs on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts.
The Dustdevil bats were held to just two hits, both doubles by
Zaria Brigham and
Alex Hernandez.
TAMIU returns home for a weekend series against #1 West Texas A&M on April 13-14.
