Laredo, Texas- It was a big night for the TAMIU Dustdevils as they were taking on rival school Texas A&M University at Kingsville. It was Neon night inside the KCB as the Dustdevils and the Javelinas were going into Lone Star Conference action.
It was a day to celebrate as Junior
Emma Lade was recognized for reaching the 2,000 assists club. A mark that only four individuals have reached in their time at TAMIU.
Emma Lade currently sits second all time in assists in TAMIU history. She accomplished this milestone against East Central earlier in the season.

There was no other way to top off such an accomplishment than to get a win against one of their rivals at home. That is exactly what the Dustdevils did. The Dustdevils took the Javelinas to five sets and finished the fifth set strong in order to cap off a home victory. This would be the second conference win of the season, perfect on the season thus far.

The Dustdevils would go on to prevail after a back-and-forth contest (25-17, 18-25,25-20,18-25,15-13). The Dustdevils are 6-23 all-time against the Javelinas.
Mia Molina had a huge game for the Dustdevils as she 20 kills and 15 digs.Â
Emma Lade had a huge night as well as she had 49 assists for the Dustdevils, a fitting game to celebrate a huge accomplishment.
Lixai Perez had 26 digs and five assists on the night.
Anna Ligart came up big for the Dustdevils as she had 15 kills and 19 digs.
Aryana Ledet also had 14 kills on the night for the Dustdevils.
