Laredo, Texas- The Dustdevils jumped back into action Saturday evening against the Cameron Aggies after prevailing over the Eagles on Thursday night. The Dustdevils entered the contest 8-9 overall while the Aggies entered play at 5-9 in the season. The KCB Gymnasium was full of local law enforcement agencies as it was law enforcement appreciation day.

The Texas A&M International Dustdevils started off hot jumping out to a ten-point lead in five minutes of play. With twelve minutes left in the first half, the Dustdevils pushed that lead to fifteen as they pushed the score up to 20-5. The Aggies would make comeback as they closed the score 26-32 with two minutes left to play in the first half. The Dustdevils would finish the first half with a six-point lead 35-29. The Dustdevils shot 11-30 from the field in the first half, 4-14 from three and 9-12 from the free throw line. TAMIU largest lead in the first half was 17 points.

With twelve minutes left to play, the score was tied at 46-46. However, the Aggies started slowly pulling away. The Aggies came out on top 65-74. The Dustdevils finished the game shooting 38.5% from the field, 26.1% from three point range and 61.3% from the free throw line. TAMIU finished with 28 total rebounds while the Aggies finished with 31. There were six total lead changes and five ties during the game. TAMIU continued their impressive streak with 38 total bench points. It was an all around effort as the Dustdevils just came up short.
Elijah Bailey led the Dustdevils with 17 points.
Emaniel Alexandre led the Dustdevils in rebounds with eight.
Anthony Ignowski facilitate as he finished the game with four assists to lead the Dustdevils in that category.
Duncan Alevok continued to show his defensive presence as he finished with three blocks on the evening.

The Dustdevils moved to 8-10 on the season and 4-6 overall in conference play. The Dustdevils will play again January 16
th against UT-Tyler at 7:30 PM CDT.
