San Antonio, Texas – The Dustdevils traveled to San Antonio to take on the St. Mary's Rattlers in Lone Star Conference play on Sunday. Forty minutes was not enough for the two teams, and the Rattlers walked away with a 76-71 win in overtime.
In the first quarter, the Dustdevils were held to 5-14 (35.7%) from the field. However, in the second quarter TAMIU shot 7-13 (53.9%) from the field and 2-4 from three-point range. Going into halftime, the Dustdevils led 35-30.
TAMIU went 4-13 (30.8%) from the field in the third quarter and shot 4-10 in the fourth quarter.
At the end of regulation, the teams were tied at 63, sending the game to overtime. The Rattlers outscored the Dustdevils 13-8 to earn the 76-71 win.

Taylor Jacobson contributing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
