Dustdevils drop season finale to Rambelles

San Angelo, Texas - Texas A&M International closed out its 2025 volleyball campaign on the road Saturday afternoon, falling in straight sets to Angelo State (16–25, 16–25, 22–25) at the Junell Center in San Angelo.

TAMIU found its strongest rhythm in the third set, pushing the Rambelles deep into the frame with multiple late runs, but ASU's offense proved difficult to slow down as the Dustdevils' comeback bid came up just short.

Mia Molina led the Dustdevils with 10 kills while adding 13 digs for a double-double performance. Sierra Sanchez matched her offensively with 10 kills of her own and contributed 12 digs.

At the net, Danea King turned in a standout blocking effort with 5 total blocks, while Samantha Estrada anchored the back row with a team-high 22 digs. Setters Natalia Cisneros and Dilean Bounds combined for 29 assists, with Bounds also adding 10 digs.

Defensively, TAMIU posted 63 digs and 6 total blocks, battling throughout extended rallies and making adjustments as the match progressed.

With today's result, this concludes the 2025 season for TAMIU volleyball.
