Personal: 
Sierra Sanchez is a sophomore outside hitter for Texas A&M International University and is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. A native of Laredo, Texas, Sierra is the daughter of Juan and Jennie Sanchez and was born on December 10, 2006.

2025:
Sierra's freshman year with the Dustdevils included 9 matches started, 22 matches played, and 58 sets played. Sierra recorded 2.59 points per set and 2.26 kills per set.

High School:
Sierra Sanchez attended United South High School in Laredo, Texas, graduating in 2025. A four-year letterman in both volleyball and basketball, Sanchez established herself as one of United South’s standout all-around athletes. On the volleyball court, she earned First Team All-District honors and was a two-time All-City/District MVP, becoming the first player in United South history to win back-to-back MVP awards. She recorded more than 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs. Sanchez was also recognized with the Icon Award and the school’s Best All-Around honor for excellence in athletics and academics. In basketball, she was a three-time First Team All-District selection.
