San Angelo, TX- The Dustdevil Softball team went back into action on day two of the ASU George and Ola McCorkle Challenge. TAMIU would go back up against Missouri Western State and Ouachita Baptist.

Game One
The Dustdevils would take on MWSU first in day two. The Griffons started off early by scoring a run in the bottom of the first. The Dustdevils would then answer back with two runs scored at the top of the second.
Eva Garcia would double out to left field.
Jenna Fabela would also double, allowing Garcia to score. Fabela would then score on a throwing error by the Griffons catcher. Unfortunately, the Griffons would score one more run at the bottom of the third and add on four more runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Dustdevils would not be able to rally back and would come up short 6-2 against the Griffons in game one.

Game Two
Game two would feature a rematch from the day before against the OBU Tigers. TAMIU would be the first to score in the top of the third as
Azalea Ramos doubled to left field allowing
Kristin Maldonado to score. The Tigers scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Dustdevils would find themselves down one against the Tigers in the top of the 7
th.
Azalea Ramos would come in clutch as she hit a home run straight over the left field fence to tie the game. The Tigers would not answer in the bottom of the 7
th which led to an "International Tiebreaker." The Dustdevils would score two in the top of the 8
th, however the Tigers would rally and put three home to come away with the victory 5-4 over the Dustdevils.

The Dustdevils return to action tomorrow against the host team #11 Angelo State Rambelles at 1:15 PM CDT.
