Laredo, Texas- The Texas A&M International Dustdevils celebrated Youth Day this weekend against St. Edwards. Many local softball teams and youth from around the area joined the Dustdevils as they battled the Hilltoppers in Lone Star Conference action.

The Dustdevils would end up splitting against the Hilltoppers. The Dustdevils would take game one 5-3 but would fall against the Hilltoppers 4-11 in the second game.
Kylie Goad would claim victory in the circle for the Dustdevils in game one. Jenna Fable,
Victoria Gonzalez and
Victoria Espinoza would all finish with two RBI's each for the Dustdevils. The Dustdevils would have 16 hits total on the day. The Dustdevils would have a superb day not only on the offensive end but came up with many intense defensive plays. The Dustdevils had multiple double plays and diving catches that put the local youth in awe.
Mypop was the sponsor today during Youth Day. The youth stayed after the game to run bases and go meet the TAMIU Softball team for autographs.
TAMIU will be back in action this Friday and Sunday against Cameron University and Oklahoma Christian.
