San Antonio, Texas- The Texas A&M International Dustdevils took on the St. Mary's Rattlers on Sunday. The Dustdevils entered the game 24-29 and 17-13 in the conference. Both the Rattlers and the Dustdevils were still playoff hopefuls in the Lone Star Conference at the time of competition.

The Dustdevils started off hot, scoring a run in the first inning. The Rattlers would not answer back until the bottom of the third inning. TAMIU would take the lead in the top of the fifth inning with two runs coming home for the Dustdevils, giving them a 3-1 lead. However, the Rattlers would answer back in the bottom of the six with a three-run home run. The Dustdevils would fall in the first game 4-3 against the Rattlers.
Kylie Goad would pitch all six innings against the Rattlers. Goad would give up nine hits and three runs against 28 batters.
Victoria Gonzalez would come away with two RBI's and
Alexia Hernandez would finish with one to lead the Dustdevils. The Dustdevils would start off hot again in game two. The Dustdevils would score a run in the top of the first and second innings. However, SMU would answer back as they would get two runs in the bottom of the second to tie the game. St. Mary's would go on to run rule the Dustdevils 10-2 in the bottom of the sixth. The Dustdevils would finish with two runs, five hits and zero errors.
Kennedy Griego and
Alexia Hernandez would both finish with one RBI for the Dustdevils in game two.
Celeste Apaez,
Nevaeh Herrera,
Zakayia Fredrick and
Andrea Hataway would all take the circle in game two for the Dustdevils.
