LUBBOCK – Texas   The Dustdevils foul trouble and a 14-0 run in the final five minutes lead to a road loss against the #11 Lubbock Christian Chaparrals with a final score of 97-56 inside Rip Griffin Center.

TAMIU (8-16,5-11) in the first half saw Caylen Goff Brown lead the team with 13 points shooting 5-of-9 combining with Spivey Word's 10, and Luke Oxford's 7 to trail 50-37.

Lubbock Christian (22-4,13-3) forward Lucas Mercandino led the first half shooting 9-of-10 at the free throw line to score 13 points from some of the nine Dustdevil fouls. In that same half the Dustdevils only went to the line once.
