Texas A&M International University president Christopher Maynard and Head Coach Ruben Rodriguez III welcome the PONY League teams of Laredo, Belgium, Puerto Rico, France, and Taiwan Wednesday morning.  

PONY organizes youth baseball and softball leagues, with over 500,000 players annually in over 4,000 leagues throughout the United States and over 40 countries world-wide. 

Laredo PONY will be hosting the 2026 PONY Palomino and Bronco World Series at the Buena Vista Sports Complex and Uni-Trade Stadium from July 31. through Aug.2.   
 

Opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00 PM Friday at the Buena Vista Sports Complex where all participating teams will be recognized.
