2014-15:
Cunha played in 1 game for the Dustdevils as a Junior Midfielder where he started.
Junior College: City College of San Francisco (2011-13)
Cunha played for the rams as a Sophomore Midfielder. While attending City College of San Francisco Cunha was a state championship runner up (2013), named a Top 2 Junior college National Ranking Regular Season (2013), and Top 3 Junior College National Ranking Post Season (2013). He also completed his Associates in Business Degree. 
High School: Colegio Ateneu Santista
At Colegio Ateneu Santista, Cunha lettered for the lions in Soccer for (3) years, and indoor Soccer for (3) years.  Cunha played as a Center and Attacking Midfielder. Cunha was named to the All City Team during his time at Colegio Ateneu Santista.

Personal:
Cunha is the son of Honorina da Rocha Cunha and Jose Carvalho Cunha. He is an only child. Cunha chose to attend TAMIU because of the rising Athletics program, and the fact that TAMIU has "International" as part of their name, meaning that the school makes the international students feel welcome. His most inspirational figure is Thierry Henry. His future aspirations include being able to give back to his family at least half of what they have done for him throughout his life, either through soccer or his business career. In his spare time, he enjoys watching soccer, reading, and talking to friends and family back home.
