2016: Yu looks to acheive her goals by competing at a high level for the Dustdevils this season.


High School: Douglas McArthur High School (Class of 2016)
Yu played golf (3) years for the Brahmas as a varsity member.  She earned All-District, All-Region, and was Co-Captain of her squad.


Personal: Rachel Yu is the daughter of Laverne and Lincoln Yu and is joined by her lone brother Ryan. Yu chose TAMIU becuase she was given the opportunity to play collegiate golf all while advancing in her education. Her most inspirational figure is Steve Davidson. Yu's future aspirations are to plat the the highest level of golf that she can achieve as well as graduating from the university with a 3.5 or better GPA. Her favorite athlete is Jason Day, an Australian professional golfer and a PGA Tour member. In her spare time, Yu enjoys singing, dancing, and reading.
