th at the UIW Invitational running 26:48.2 over 8,000-meters. Finished 58
th at the Heartland Conference Championships running 28:53.4 for 8K.Â

Navarette had a strong freshman season highlighted by a 10
th place finish at the Islander Splash in a personal best time of 28:02.7 over 8,000-meters. He recorded a 67
th place finish at the Heartland Conference Championships covering the 8,000m course with his second-fastest time of the season, 28:26.9. He also finished 60
th at the 7
th Annual Roadrunner Invitational hosted by Metro State running 29:27.3. He opened his collegiate career with a 112
th place finish at the Rice Invitational running 22:01.8 over 6,000-meters.

While at Lyndon B. Johnson Eddie was a runner. After graduation he plans to become a productive member of society. In Eddies spare time he enjoys spending time with his brothers.Â

Eddie is the son of Noel and Yuridia Navarrete. He has two brothers named Chris Navarrete and Dylan Navarrete. He chose TAMIU because it felt like home. The person I look up to the most is Albert Einstein.Â
