2018:
Navarrete ran a total of 5 races, and his best one was Concordia University Invitational (8k) where he ran 29:57.0 and placed 14th. In the Heartland Conference Championships (8k) he posted a time of 28:27.2.

2017:
Navarrete competed in five meetings as a sophomore including a top-10 finish at the Islander Splash where the Dustdevils won the team title. He covered the four-mile course at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 21:24.5. He finished 19th at the UIW Invitational running 26:48.2 over 8,000-meters. Finished 58th at the Heartland Conference Championships running 28:53.4 for 8K. 
 
2016:
Navarette had a strong freshman season highlighted by a 10th place finish at the Islander Splash in a personal best time of 28:02.7 over 8,000-meters. He recorded a 67th place finish at the Heartland Conference Championships covering the 8,000m course with his second-fastest time of the season, 28:26.9. He also finished 60th at the 7th Annual Roadrunner Invitational hosted by Metro State running 29:27.3. He opened his collegiate career with a 112th place finish at the Rice Invitational running 22:01.8 over 6,000-meters.

While at Lyndon B. Johnson Eddie was a runner. After graduation he plans to become a productive member of society. In Eddies spare time he enjoys spending time with his brothers. 

Personal:
Eddie is the son of Noel and Yuridia Navarrete. He has two brothers named Chris Navarrete and Dylan Navarrete. He chose TAMIU because it felt like home. The person I look up to the most is Albert Einstein.
