Texas A&M International University Athletics

Jim Bonnette has worked as Associate Director of Athletics Compliance since 2013 and before that served as the Head Assistant Baseball Coach beginning in 2008. 
Prior to joining Texas A&M International University, Bonnette worked within two different collegiate baseball programs at Marietta College and Ohio Valley University. 
A former Division I athlete, Bonnette earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Akron – where he was also a four-year starter for the Zips. He played catcher.
Bonnette earned his Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise science from Akron as well. 
A native of Lancaster, Ohio, Bonnette was an outstanding athlete at Fairfield Union High School where he lettered in baseball, basketball and football. As a senior he received All-State honors in all three sports and was named the baseball conference’s Player of the Year.  In 2000 he was inducted into the Fairfield Union High School Athletics Hall of Fame.
Bonnette resides in Laredo, Texas, with his wife Gracy.
