1x Heartland Conference Player of the Week

2018:
Kim was name as the Heartland’s Men Golfer of the week (March, 2018). Kim won his first individual collegiate at the 2018 South Padre Intercollegiate, shooting a 146 over two days shooting rounds of 71 and 76. The  week after winning he’s first tournament Kim found himself inside the top 10 at the Arbor Hotels Classic. At the first round kim got 77 which let him in the 18^th place. The second round fired a 71 moving him up to the 10^th place overall. In the Midwestern State Invitational Kim tied for a three-way for the 24^th place after a 17-over-230. On the Jack Brown Memorial Kim placed 20^th with a 9-over-225. At the Heartland Conference Kim tie for 14^th place after he turn in a card of 1-over-217.

2017-18:
Kim won his first career collegiate individual title at the South Padre Intercollegiate hosted by Sterling College. The sophomore won on the second playoff hole after shooting a final round 76 for a two-round score of 147. Finished in 43^rdplace at the Heartland Conference Championships carding scores of 80, 71 and 81 for a 16-over score of 232. Finished in a tie for 50^that the Dallas Baptist Classic with a three-round score of 237. Recorded a top-15 finish at the Arbor Hotels Classic with a three-round sore of 226 after shooting a 1-under 71 in the second round. Tied for 24^that the Midwestern State Invitational carding scores of 74, 71 and 71 for a 6-over 219. Started the season off with a 21^stplace finish at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational with at here-round score of 214.

High School: Veritas Academy
 Kim played golf all (4) years during his time at the academy.

Personal: Justin Kim is the son of Jean and James Kim and is joined by his (2) brothers Adam and Dylan. Kim chose TAMIU because it provides him with the chance to exceed academically and athletically. His most insirational figures are his parents and brothers. His future aspiration is to become a professional golfer. His favorite athlete is San Antonio Spurs Kawahi Leonard. In his spare time, Kim enjoys relaxing at home.
