2019:

Before the season, Schofield was named to the 2019 Preseason All-Heartland Conference Team...She had a phenomenal senior season as she batted .326 and led the Dustdevils in home runs (11), hits (60), runs (42), doubles (12), RBI (38), total bases (107), slugging percentage (.582) and walks (25)...Ranked among the Heartland Conference leaders in home runs (2nd), hits (3rd), slugging percentage (3rd), runs (T-4th), RBI (T-6th), doubles (T-6th) and walks (T-6th)...Named Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week on February 12th for producing four multi-hit games to slug 1.000 while batting .529 (9-for-17) and hit two home runs throughout the George & Ola McCorkle Challenge...19 multi-hit games including a career-high four-hit performance (4-for-4) including two RBI on February 23rd in the finale of a doubleheader against Oklahoma Christian...Tied her season high with three RBI that came on a solo home run and a two-run home run which was her second-career two-home run performance in a 7-5 victory in the first game of a twin bill against Texas A&M-Commerce on February 20th...Throughout the 2019 Heartland Conference Softball Championship, she batted .352 (6-for-17) while recording two home runs, five RBI and scored six runs...Recorded at least one hit in every game of the Heartland Conference Championship...In the Dustdevils' opening matchup against No. 4 Lubbock Christian, Schofield went 2-for-4 with a double and crossed the plate three times on May 2nd....Smacked a go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning against No. 1 St. Mary's to secure a 4-3 victory that eliminated the Rattlers on May 3rd....Heartland Conference All-Tournament selection for the second-consecutive season...Second-straight First Team All-Heartland Conference selection...2019 Heartland Conference Player of the Year (2nd Dustdevil in history to garner the award).  

2018:
Schofield had an impressive junior season where she became the second player in program history to earn Heartland Conference Newcomer of the Year honors. She was also named First Team All-Heartland Conference after hitting .311 with 10 doubles and six home runs to drive in a team-high 34 runs for a slugging percentage of .467. She also scored 25 times with 13 walks and four stolen bases for a .365 on-base percentage. She recorded three or more hits in three games with the last coming against St. Edward’s on April 13. Drove in a season-high four runs against UC-Colorado Springs on Feb. 18 in Canyon. She was named the conference hitter of the week on April 9 after hitting three home runs including the walk-off in the 11th inning in a three game series sweep of Rogers State. The right fielder also earned All-Heartland Conference Tournament honors after going 4 for 10 from the plate with one home run with three RBIs. 

Barton Community College:
Schofield played in 59 games as a sophomore hitting .436 with 19 doubles, three triples and nine home runs to drive in 55 runs for a slugging percentage of .683. She also tallied 12 walks while stealing 25 bases on 27 attempts for an on base percentage of .472. Her 19 doubles were the third-most in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
 
High School:
Graduated from Lynwood Senior High School. Played Premier League Softball Twin City Lakes in Perth Western Australia from 2012-16. Also starred on the pitch with the NTC from 2010-15.
 
Personal:
Born Maddison Patricia Schofield on June 15th, 1998 in Perth, Australia and Schofield is the daughter of Natalie and Murray Schofield. She is majoring in kinesiology. She has two brothers, Mitchell (17) and Taj (14). Her mother, Natalie, is her role model. She chose to attend TAMIU because of the opportunity it gave her in both softball and academically. She dreams of playing softball all over the world after finishing her degree.
