2017:

Bargallo earned D2CCA 1st Team All-South Central Region and United Soccer Coaches 3rd Team All-Region honors after the best offensive season in school history breaking five school records as a sophomore. She was named the Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Year after scoring a total of 17 goals, 11 of those coming in league play, to finish 12th in the nation. She also broke the school record for most multi-goal matches in a single season with six including a school record four in the season opening 5-3 win over Delta State. Her 67 shots and 38 shots on-goal were tops in the conference. Her three game-winners are the sixth-most in a career. Converted her only penalty attempt of the season in a 2-2 draw against Eastern New Mexico on Sept. 8.

2016:
Bargallo made an immediate impact as a freshman starting in 17 matches for the Dustdevils in 2016 where she earned Heartland Conference 3rd Team accolades. She led the team in goals (6), points (12), shots (69) and shots on goal (27) while ranking third in minutes played (1,429). She scored her first goal against Colorado Christian on Sept. 4. She recorded her first multi-goal match of her career scoring both goals in a 2-2 draw against Rogers State on Oct. 20. She also had a career-high 10 shots and four shots on goal against St. Mary’s on Sept. 7.

Bargallo earned Top Scorer of her league and 3rd Top Postition.

Personal: Cio Bargallo Aragones is daughter of Maria and Joan Aragones. She is joined by her brothers Josep and Roc. Bargallo chose TAMIU becuase of how it fit with her and becuase they offer a lot of opportunities for international students. Her most inspirational figure is Ronaldinho for his magic when he has the ball. Her future aspirations is to build her own family, live in the United States as long as possible, and to keep playing soccer as much as she can. In her spare time, Bargallo enjoys spending time with her grandmother and friends as well as watching series and soccer matches.
