2017-18:
Made 29 appearances including seven starts as a junior scoring 2.6 points per game in 18.6 minutes per game. He went 27-of-97 from the field, 16-of-73 from three and 6-of-11 from the free throw. Had arguably his best game of the season against Paul Quinn College on Nov. 30 scoring nine points on 4-of-7 shooting dishing out 10 assists. Scored a career-high 12 points on Dec. 3 against Southwestern Adventist shooting 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Recorded seven rebounds on the road against Western New Mexico on Nov .27. Had three games with three or more 3-pointers. Finished second on the team in assists (55) and fourth in steals (17). 

2015-17: Lassen College
Appeared in 28 games including 27 starts for Lassen College in 2016-17 where he was 92-of-196 (46.9) from the field, 55-of-125 (44%) and 34-of-47 (72.3%) averaging 9.8 points per game. He also contributed 89 rebounds, 71 assists and 37 steals during his sophomore season.
 
High School:
Graduated from Downers Grove South High School where he played basketball and baseball.
 
Personal:
Danny is the son of Jim Spinuzza. He chose TAMIU because it gave him the best opportunity to further his academic and athletic career. He also liked that everyone around campus were very welcoming and family oriented. His father, Jim, is his most inspirational figure.
