Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week (Dec. 23)

2019:
Heyn played in 28 games for the Dustdevils, starting 20 of the contests. She finished the season second on the team in scoring (12.1 ppg) and led the team in rebounding (5.1 rpg), steals (68), field goals made (115), field goals attempted (293), three pointers attempted (153) and three pointers made (51). Set her career high as a Dustdevil on February 27, scoring 26 against Tarleton State. Finished the season scoring in double figures 17 times and scored 20 or more eight times, including her first game as a Dustdevil. Against Texas A&M-Kingsville on February 15, Heyn recorded her first double-double at TAMIU scoring 21 points and collecting 11 rebounds. 

Prior To TAMIU:
Heyn brings National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) playing experience at the College of Southern Idaho. The Spanish Fork, Utah native put together a stellar performance for the Golden Eagles when she posted a triple-double featuring game highs of 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals against Minnesota State Community and Technical College on Nov. 24, 2018.

Two weeks after posting the triple-double, Heyn garnered Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) Player of the Week honors for averaging 16 points and six rebounds and leading CSI to wins over Western Wyoming Community College and Salt Lake Community College Alumni.  
 
High School:
Attended Maple Mountain High School in Spanish Fork, Utah.
 
Personal:
Heyn is the daughter of Paula and Gabriel Heyn. She has a sister, Christine and twin sisters Lorena and Valentina. Heyn is pursuing a degree in multidisciplinary studies.
