Prior to TAMIU: 
Prior to joining the Dustdevils, Rax attended Cal State San Bernardino where he was a member of a conference championship team and averaged 14 ppg.

High School:
Rax attended Summer Creek High School in Houston, where he competed in Football, basketball and track. He averaged 16 ppg as a senior, leading his team to the postseason.
 
Personal:
Rax is the son of Qunicy Ward (mother). He has a brother, Taalore. Rax will be pursuing a degree in graphic design with a minor in marketing.
