Biography

2022 Fall: 
Placed second at the Concho River Classic, tied for 45th at the Westminster Wasatch Invitational and tied for 37th at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate Tournament. 

2022 Spring: 
Tied for 29th at the Jack Brown Memorial Golf Tournament, tied for 41st at the Rattler Invite, tied for 43rd at the Lone Star Conference Championship

2021: 
Castro competed in the Nick Turner Invitational where she tied for 54th place with a +20 (164). 

2020: 
Castro appeared in her first collegiate match at the West Texas A&M Desert Invite where she finished in a tie for 53rd with a +25 (169). Finished the season at the Lone Star Conference Championship in a tie for 28th after shooting +8 (224). 

HIGH SCHOOL:
Castro graduated from Tom C. Clark High School and played for four years under Coach Christopher Weil. At CHS, she was a two-time First Team All-District selection and a four-time First Team Academic All-District selection. Castro also completed for four years in the UIL Sweepstakes in varsity orchestra.

PERSONAL:
Castro is the daughter of Annette and Bill Castro, and has a brother. She is majoring in Business Management with a minor in Communications.
